1892 − Set up in year 1892, located Strait Settlement Officer's auspices. Locate at Bandar Kaba, Bandar Hilir Melaka. Jabatan Ukur share office with Jabatan Kerja Raya.
1903 − In 30.11.1903, Ordinan 81 used by which merely allow surveyor licensed under Surveyor General allowed to carry out measure to Registration Of Deeds.
1920 − In 8.12.1920, Pelan Akui first approved namely PA2.
In 1.4.1920, Jabatan Ukur Melaka and Jabatan Ukur Singapura grafted and governed under Surveyor General (FMS And SS).
1950 − In 1.1.1950, Jabatan Ukur Melaka and Negeri Sembilan grafted after Jabatan Ukur Negeri Sembilan breaks up with Jabatan Ukur Selangor.
1957 − In 1.1.1957, Jabatan Ukur Melaka and Jabatan Ukur Negeri Sembilan being divided.
1967 − In 3.4.1967, Bangunan Jabatan Ukur have just been placed in Lot 302, Jalan Taming Sari, KB XXXV, Bandar Melaka officiated by Tun Haji Abd. Razak Bin Dato' Hussin, Deputy Prime Minister.
1995 − 1.1.1995, JUPEM Melaka to modernization trend step to computerisation era by using Sistem Mini CALS.

Modernized Department
Computerization programs at JUPEM has transformed it into one of government’s most up-to-date and modern departments in the State. With the successful implementation of Sistem Pengurusan Data Kadaster (SPDK), together with the deployment of GPS and Total Stations in outstation jobs, this department has advanced to a centre of excellence in the line survey and mapping industry.
